I hope that wherever she is she is HAPPY. My Mom deserved so much better than she got in LIFE and I sure hope that someone is making up for it NOW.

I wish so many things for her, Here are just a few.

I wish she had gotten to spend more time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

I wish I had been a better kid for her.

I wish my father had not been such a piece of shit.

I wish that she had not gotten Cancer.

I wish that she had not suffered at the end.

I wish that she had tons of money so she never had to worry about how she would support 4 kids all by herself.

I wish that she had lived to see my nephew get married and have a baby. (well his wife)

I wish that she had made it long enough to see my cousin’s twins Luke and Cole. I know she was so excited about them.

I wish I had told her EVERYDAY how much I loved her and how much she inspired me.

I wish that she had been able to find a man that LOVED her the way her family and friends loved her.

My mother was an inspiration to so many people, I just hope that she realized how much she was loved and looked up to. For all the things she did not have…. she had family and friends that loved her more than anything and will miss her for the rest of their lives no matter how long that will me.

:bheart:

I LOVE You Mom !!!!

Thinking of Aunt Elaine always but especially today, her Birthday. Alicia got Aunt Elaine’s birthdate tattooed on her wrist yesterday. We all miss her sooo much. The past weeks have truly been the toughest times of my life, it has been even harder to get through them without Aunt Elaine to talk to, cry with and of course share my beautiful boys with. Each day the thought to call her and share my experience, ask for advice or just cry was overwhelming. My saving grace has been her memory, her influence and her presence that is still with me now and forever. There is a reason why the poem “Footprints” has always had a special place for both Aunt Elaine and myself, when times are rough she has always carried me, she is still carrying me, she has been carrying my twin boys. Aunt Elaine was my Guardian Angel while she was here with me on earth and is now mine and my children’s Guardian Angel from Heaven.

There is no doubt in my mind that your mom knows how much you loved her and she is watching over you now and knows everything that you are feeling. You are a true reflection of how wonderful your mother was. Though I never met her, I know what an amazing person she was simply by the way she raised her daughter. Love you Terri.

  5. That was beautiful. I never met her but I can tell she was an amazing woman Ter.

    *hugs*

You will always miss you Mom, and you will always love her. I lost my Dad in 1992, and still sometimes cry. But I am firmly convinced that she is watching over you and waiting for you. What a party when you get there (not too soon)!!!

  7. I love you, Ter. Elaine was a rockin’ mom and you are a rockin’ daughter.

  11. Elaine was the cream of the crop, and I just know in my heart that’s how she’s spending her eternity–with the finest of fine. She’s at peace and smiling down with pride at you because you’re exactly like her.

    Love,
    Dakota :)

{Big Hugs} to you, T. I have no doubt your mom is up in Heaven smiling down on you right now. It had to make her proud knowing what a wonderful and loving daughter she brought forth into this world. May the great memories you have of her always inspire you and help to console you when life gets really crappy.

That was really beautiful Terri, you too Kara. I am a firm believer that the better person you are, the more rewards you have in heaven. I have no doubt that Mom is having a great time hanging out with Grandma and watching over every one of us. Although I miss her terrribly, she provided such a great role model for the family and as a result, my sisters and cousin have taken after her and have helped to fill the terrible void that was left in my life when she passed. I love you all!
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday you were worried about P and I and were so comforting, dear friend. My head was in my ass and kicking myself now for not remembering how hard this day would be for you. I am sorry for not being there for you!

    I leave you with this:

    There will come a day
    when your tears of sorrow
will softly flow into tears of remembrance…
and your heart will begin to heal itself…
and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy…
and you will hear the whisper of hope.
    There will come a day
when you will welcome the tears of remembrance…
as a sunshower of the soul…
    a turning of the tide…
    a promise of peace.
There will come a day when you will…
    risk loving…
    go on believing…
and treasure the tears of remembering

    Love ya, Steamy
